"The sun never sets on the British Empire" and (Every Subject) "may retain weapons necessary for the defense of his home and person"

Once indisputable truths. The sun has set on both of these concepts in Great Britain. As a result of current British Law, many of the firearms once proudly held onto in the collections of British Subjects have found new homes in "The Land of the Free". American citizens now own them.

In memory of British Rights lost, and as a tribute to our Second Amendment:

The New Jersey Arms Club, Inc.

Invites the owners of these weapons to compete in a marksmanship contest using:

In Memory of Glenn DeRuiter

It is noteworthy to recognize the achievements of Glenn DeRuiter in this shoot. Glen competed in several categories and won FIVE EVENTS. Glenn also was an expert and a collector of Sniper Rifles. His presentation on Sniper Rifles made at our meeting was thorough and informative. As an Assistant Manager at Sarco, Glenn helped many club members in starting, building and learning about their collections. What information he had, he shared with others.

While shooting his Lee Navy at the Easton Range on June 30, 2002, Glenn's rifle suffered a catastrophic failure resulting in his death. Glenn was a valued member of this club, and his community, and he will be surely missed.

The Arms Collectors continues to extend our condolences to his friends and family
and we wish them well.

In addition to Glen DeRuiter's exceptional performance, several shooters posted exceptional scores.

HOWEVER NO ONE WAS GOING TO OUT SHOOT "Machine Gun Gajda".

Rich posted a perfect score in the COMMANDO contest. Six still targets and a single hole ( a large hole but still only one hole) in the paper target. Fourteen rounds, ONE HOLE.

Great Shooting, Rich!

As usual, we all managed to eat very well and we had a great time.
